LETTER FROM THE DEAN

Dr. Pankaj
The more important of the two educations is teaching how to live, rather than how to make a living. With the former, the latter is bound to follow. In today's fast paced world, a good education and gainful employment are merely the status quo-these are no longer the proven formula for wealth and success. Academics have now become only one yardstick of the several determining an individual's success story. A vital ingredient for a success story "Life Skills Set" is not the one that you learn within the four walls of a classroom or from the contents of a textbook. Life skills are best learned through experiences, experiences of meeting new people, experiences of going to new places and most importantly, the experience of experiencing. A good doctor is one who not only has abundant knowledge but can connect with a patient at a personal level. This is learnt by acquiring life skills sets. At our college, we aim not only to provide our students with the essential knowledge of the basic subjects but also to teach them the life skills that will make them better citizens of the world tomorrow. This also stays our motto, at AMCON; to not only impart knowledge but to also assure that the students take with them life experiences. The greatest discovery of our generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude. With the right attitude, an individual can succeed in any field he sets his foot in. An overwhelming response of 250+ abstracts and over 700+ registrations in AMCON'17 and 900+ registrations in AMCON’18 motivated us to work towards the fourth instalment of Adrenaline Medical Conference, AMCON 2019. On behalf of the entire team of students and faculty, I consider it my pride and privilege to extend a warm welcome to the esteemed dignitaries of the medical field and the student delegates coming from across the country for this convention. I encourage all our registrants to participate in the discussions and hope that the conference helps in the exchange of information, gathering of knowledge and development of new collaborations.
